A special one day conference event sponsored by Austin’s AWT, is February 27, 2009. This year’s Women’s Business Conference includes keynote addresses from Nancy Graves, the Signature Coach and Consultant of Margaret Keys, and Marilyn Johnson, Vice President for Market Development at IBM. You’ll also be able to choose your own adventure with the offering of break out sessions, speed coaching and mentoring, a technology demo lab, networking, and exhibits from our generous sponsors. Continental breakfast and lunch are included in the price of admission, as well as coffee and snacks to keep you going.

Michelle Naquin, CEO and co-founder of the Green Technology Alliance (GTA) will be presenting on how green can be part of a positive power structure and help you and your organization succeed.

Special Session Title: Green Power

In the immortal words of Kermit the Frog, “It’s not easy bein’ green.” Today, it’s more important than ever that we build sustainability into all elements of our lives. Addressing better usage of our available resources can only happen when individuals and organizations understand what needs to be done and how to do it. This session provides powerful knowledge of the business value and trends emerging in the green arena, and helps identify success factors to begin building green into all areas of your organization’s operations and development. Regardless of your organizational role, improving efficiencies and reducing costs will help ensure the success of your company, your career and, ultimately, our planet.
