Defining An Organization That Drives Value

In order to define our organization we had to create a functioning applicable model. For us that meant creating a model that can also expand and adapt. We researched many existing transformational models; however, we found that most only provided a limited representation of the necessary components for transformation-- and worse as a result often those models overly simplify the requirements.

The ecosystem nature (on multiple levels) of our alliance drove our decision to model our organization on a building blocks concept tied to the ultimate ecosystem of necessary components in nature--- ELEMENTS.

Elements are defined in two specific ways that tie to our goals:

• one of the necessary data or values on which calculations or conclusions are based
• one of the factors determining the outcome of a process.

Defining Elements-- The Core of the GTA

Our elements start with the response required to meet the challenges and opportunities of an alliance that supports a sustainable economic model. An alliance that must drive economic value, particularly in relationship to green, clean and sustainable principles. However, the GTA sustainable economic model intends to drive that economic value only through integration of core defining principles such as action, purpose, values and leadership.

The elements are then broken down into core challenges and needs relative to green and sustainability which in turn drive the next set of required elements-- awareness, and our models and programs. The elements of awareness, as well as, the models and programs that are required then create the key pieces that form the action and implementation elements of the GTA, such as educate, evaluate, launch and deploy.

Leverage, Focus and Value

Our elements define and identify key areas of leverage and value for the organization. In other words, the GTA elements are essentially representative areas of focus for an effective organization whose mission is to drive the accelerated adoption of green, clean and sustainable business practices, technologies and solutions.
